      Anne Boleyn is thought to have entered the castle through these gates as a prisoner on 2 May 1536

    That gate must have sent shivers down the spine of any prisoner who went through it, a bit like ‘The Bridge of Sighs’ in Venice.

    The real @Anne Boleyn, very tragic story of her life. I watched the history of the United Kingdom in the movie- The Tudors. Fascinating 😀
